Dagger |
|
After shortening a sword for a customer, I had a good piece of blade left. Hand fluted guard, walnut from an 1893 Turkish Mauser stock and whitetail antler. Back seamed sheath shortened from the sword scabbard. $125 with sheath. |

Skean Dhu |
|
Skean Dhu with fancy wood hilt and burned sheath. Shown with cocobolo. Price: Starts at $150. |
Seax |
I based this seax off an original 7th century piece in my collection. It's light and easy to handle with a 5" blade and snug sheath. Price: $90 |
Brass Knuckles |
Brass Knuckles--Not the cheap, plated, aluminum imports. These are heavy, hard red brass cast in the original molds used for the Chicago Police Department in the 1940s. Coarse castings require some polish inside the finger holes for comfort and fit. They are legal here. Please check your local and state laws before ordering. $30 each, including shipping within the US. May not be purchased via PayPal. Click here to order these via email. |
Retrofitting |
|
We can refit almost any bayonet or tactical knife to any weapon. Conversions start at $50. Custom bayonets start at $200. As shown: 1914 Swiss Engineer's Bayonet refitted for AR15/M16 and with ABS plastic scabbard with ALICE/MOLLE web gear mounts, $450. |
Consignments |
| We have these on consignment. They look like Silver Stag brand (hand made in America) but we're not positive on origin. Hilts are real antler, blades appear to be reground industrial saw blades with milled jewel finish. Each has a scrimshawed decoration. |
|
Large bowie with a 10" blade. $195 |
|
This pair is a medium sized hunter with a skinner/caper companion blade. There is some damage (a slice) to the main sheath, where someone inserted it incorrectly. If sheathed properly there is no problem, and it doesn't show. $149 for the pair. |
|
Small caping knife, 3" blade. $89 |
|
4" skinner with gut hook. $109 |
|
Filet knife with 6" blade and smooth antler hilt. $89 |
Sold Knives |
A Sword for a Young Man |
The blade was an 1870 Naval Bayonet (Ames contract) for the 1870 Springfield rifle. At some point, someone cut it to fit a ceremonial sword. It was a fine blade on chintzy fittings. Having salvaged the blade and sold the parts, it is now hilted in curly maple and steel, Viking style, for my son.
Not for sale. |

Child's Viking sword |
|
My daughter helped me design this Viking-style "Sword" when she was six. It passed down to my son. As they both now have actual swords, this dagger is now for sale. While the Norse didn't use daggers, it's only a sword for a small person, and a handy early period dagger for adults. Blade is 1095 high carbon steel from a Spanish-made dagger, forged, fullered and tempered to Rc 47. Hilt is imitation ivory with leather washers dyed dark purple. The material has grain and ages like real ivory, toward a yellow hue. Back seamed sheath is leather, embossed and dyed dark purple. Blade: 11.5" Grip: 3" Hilt including grip: 4.5" Sold. |
